Day 6 of our travel adventure yesterday consisted of driving northwest to Bayeux in Normandy, checking into our hotel, and visiting the beautiful Bayeux Cathedral. After dinner we caught an amazing light show displayed on the face of the cathedral after sunset.
Today, was day 7 and we began by traveling to Arromanches to visit the D-Day museum and the Normandy beaches. Afterwards it was off for a sobering visit at the American cemetery at Omaha Beach. We finished our day visiting the Bayeaux Tapestry museum in town.
Tomorrow we are off for another travel day to Mont Ste. Michel and Amboise in the Loire valley. That's all for now. Au revoir
